The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a suspect in connection with the deaths of two production crew members found lifeless inside a parked vehicle at a movie location in Lekki, Lagos. The suspect, a member of the production team, allegedly delivered food to the victims before they were discovered unresponsive. Investigation is ongoing.

The victims — lighting director Ekemini “GeeTee” Imeh and his associate, Ayodeji Walter Odediran — arrived early to set up equipment and later rested inside a tinted Nissan vehicle while awaiting further production activities. Reports indicate both were foaming at the mouth, with one showing blood stains around the nose and lips, prompting police to transfer the case to the State Criminal Investigation Department for further probe, including autopsy and toxicology examinations.

Imeh, CEO of a lighting company known for work on major productions such as King of Boys and music videos for top artists, leaves a legacy in the industry. The incident comes days after another unexplained deaths involving gospel artiste Segun Praise and three crew members inside a Lagos studio, raising concerns over safety on entertainment sets.
